For the ventilators to function properly without any vibration, we recommend installing them completely level on a sturdy and flat foundation. The best foundation for ventilators is reinforced concrete. However, a sturdy steel or wooden construction also works well. If the foundation has steel construction, the frequency of each section of this foundation must be at least 50% higher than the rotational speed of the fan or motor. The ventilator must be installed very carefully by qualified technicians. After inspecting the foundation, the ventilator is installed horizontally or at an angle of maximum 30o. If the ventilator is installed at an angle, make sure that the hinge axis is also installed in line with the lead angle of the roof. Also note the following important information:
- The sealant must be installed in the designated area to protect against rain;
- Make sure that the power supply is switched off;
- Only use stainless steel fixings;
- See attachment for installing the motor.
