Developed for use in multi-storey residential and commercial buildings where there is a requirement for smoke ventilation shafts to internal corridors and firefighting lobbies.
The AOV range is uniquely bottom hinged providing substantial cost savings, with easy install and maintenance features such as the Easy Acesss Panel, allowing access to the wiring and electronics from the corridor.
The smoke shaft does not require mesh floor or external guards or unsightly grilles to protect the open doorway adding further cost saving to the install and maintenance.
Designed to blend into the building, looking like ‘just another door’. Finished in any standard RAL or BS colour to suit your requirements, and to compliment other building features.

The AOV door is easy and quick to install, and comes complete in its own frame. The Easy Acesss Panel removes from the outside to allow instant access to the wiring and actuator.
Screw though the frame into the builders opening and wire up, and the job’s complete!
In the open position the standard AOV has a measured free area of 1.60m
2 making it suitable for use in:

- Firefighting lobbies
