Flange Details

The MLS has a standard flange of 50mm. Other flanges are possible.

Materials

  • Corrosion resistant aluminium sheet, AlMg3;
  • Aluminium extrusion profiles, AlMgSi 0.5;
  • Stainless steel.

Controls

  • Pneumatic actuator with CO2 emergency fail safe system;
  • Electric actuator 24V DC / 230V AC;
  • Cable.
  • Fail safe system actuation, operating at 68, 93 or 140 Deg C.

Installation

  • Only use Stainless steel fixings;
  • Drill the holes in the flange with a minimum measure the width of the bolt and a maximum measure of HOH 500 mm;
  • Be sure that the voltage is cut off and that there is no pressure on the cylinders. Also the CO2 should not be assembled on the fireset.
  • Assembly and maintenance should only be performed in daylight or artificial light.
