Snow Load

According BS7346: Part 1: 1990 standards the uninsulated NKV-RD can carry a snow load up to 125 N/m². The insulated types can carry a snow load of 300 N/m². These values are applicable with an opening of 30° or less.

Cylinder minimum -20°C/ maximum +60°C
Motor minimum -5°C/ maximum +70°C

Rain Defence

The NKV-RD is waterproof in closed position, according the standards of BS7346: part 1: 1990 Clause 5.3.

Wind Resistance

The NKV-RD meets the standards of BS7346: part 1: 1990 and opens successfully with a side wind of 18 m/s (Clause 5.6).
